Hi all!
I know that it has been expressed that a skittles night would be fun, and seeing that the club nights are down to 1 a month I think a skittles evening might be fun. I have located a few places that say they have skittles facillities, most have function rooms that can be booked with the alleys, and some even have food thrown in too! I dont know of prices yet, I need to find out which venue would be most suitable for every one. I shall list them below:
The Mill Arms, Dunbridge, Romsey, SO51 0LF
Kings Head, The Square, Wickham, PO17 5JN
Mortimer Arms Hotel, Romsey Road, Ower, SO51 6AF
Golden Pot, Shalden, Alton, GU34 4DJ
The Crofton Pub, Hill Head, Fareham, PO14 3QF
The Jolly Farmer, Blacknest, Alton, GU34 4QD
Most of these pubs have websites so if you want to look at them first. Please list any preferences below.

sounds like fun Jackie and I would like to join in. As Ian said Wickham or Fareham would be best for us.

Right I think the kings head in Wickham might be a good first choice, I shall see if they still have a skittles alley and if it needs to be booked at all. I shall report back here my findings...

I've been in touch with the Kings Head at Wickham, they still have the skittles and there are two options: £7.95 for a set menu and skittles £9.95 for a buffet and skittles Just need to know a date now to book it, any one got a preferable date? Weekday or Weekend? I could even do an afternoon ride out with this as the end point if people would like? I will need to put a deposit down, about £100, so payment will have to be in advance for this one.

That would be a good idea, but I would need to konw how many people wanted to go and get money before then so that I can book it.

Nice idea but what about those of us that don't fancy a game of skittles or can't afford it? I'm not a kill joy just practical.
